Return of the Heiress: Light of Rebirth
Han Xuewei, once known as Xia Zi, had her family utterly destroyed by the 'phoenix man' Cha Nai. She undergoes plastic surgery to change her appearance, vowing a fierce revenge. She initially mistakes Gao Shuai, who is also investigating Cha Nai, for a stalker and subjects him to multiple pranks. However, she soon discovers that Gao Shuai's sister was also murdered by Cha Nai, leading the two to form a powerful alliance. They devise a honeytrap, but their plan is complicated when Xiao Shan uncovers Han Xuewei's true identity. Realizing he's been deceived, Cha Nai retaliates fiercely, and Gao Shuai risks his life to save Han Xuewei. Han Xuewei falls deeply in love with Gao Shuai, only to learn that his heart holds a profound devotion to his sister, whom he considered his true love. Ultimately, Han Xuewei makes the bold move to expose her own identity and delivers all of Cha Nai's incriminating evidence to the police. When the dust finally settles, Gao Shuai visits Xia Zi's grave and there he encounters Han Xuewei, realizing that she was never truly gone. He embraces her tightly, and she, at last, sheds the tears she had held back for so long.
